Polypop Live is a live streaming toolkit designed to give you endless creative possibilities to help you standout and engage your audience.

At its core, the app is structured around scenes. A scene is essentially a blank canvas where you can design your broadcast by adding visual and audible elements. Things such as your webcam feed, text, 3D objects and many other types of elements can be added to a scene. Furthermore, you can create multiple scenes that you can switch between during your live broadcast. For instance, one scene might contain a full screen view of your webcam while another could contain a view of your game along with other interesting visual elements.

Another important feature of Polypop Live is the ability to make interesting things happen in your scenes in response to alerts that fire for a variety of conditions. For instance, by connecting your Twitch account, you can access alerts that fire whenever someone cheers you. Those alerts can, in turn, trigger an animation in your scene that helps reinforce the cheerer’s actions and encourage others to cheer as well.

Finally, when you are ready to broadcast, Polypop Live can directly stream to platforms such as Twitch, YouTube Live, Facebook Live or your favorite platform. You can also stream to external apps such as Zoom, Google Meet or other broadcast tools like OBS.

Why did we create Polypop Live?

As avid live stream viewers and video game aficionados, we noticed a dissonance: while the games streamers played were popping with innovations and ever-evolving technologies, the live-stream platforms haven’t changed much in years. Coming from the worlds of VR and gaming, we realized we could do something about it. We thought, why not take the capabilities of a gaming engine, and apply them to the world of live-streaming? The result is Polypop Live - the only live-streaming app powered by a gaming engine, that adds a third dimension to live-streaming and takes interactivity to a new level.
